Sundarban Anilkrishna Mahavidyalaya (B.Ed.) is a co-education B.Ed. college, situated at vill+P.O. – Parghumti, P.S. – Hingalganj, 24 Parganas (North), Pin – 743439, West Bengal. The college is situated in an isolated Block (Hingalganj) at the Northern-most part of the Sundarban. It is surrounded by some off-sore islands like Hasnabad, Vandarkhali, Gosaba & others. The block is separated from the mainland by river Raymangal, Kalindi etc. There are not a single Teacher Training College (B.Ed.) in Hingalganj Block & also rest of Blocks. To solve this problem the college was established in 2009 & the college is governed by Baghajatin Swami Vivekananda Welfare Society, (Registration No. – S/IL/55469 of 2008-2009) 10/1A, Biplabi Ullaskar Dutta Road, P.O. – Baghajatin, P.S. – Jadavpur, Kolkata – 700 086.

The college is named after a saintly man from Parghumti, who dedicated his service for this Block in the field of education. This Teacher Training College was established with the object of producing well trained Secondary & higher Secondary level teachers. The college has a capacity of 100 students on the roll every year and course duration one year. This institution is a great hostage to the national education. The campus of the B.Ed. College is very attractive with exquisite natural surroundings & positional advantage. The nearest B.Ed. College, New Barrack pore is at a distance of 115 K.M. from Sundarban Anilkrishna Mahavidyalaya (B.Ed.).

The institute trains its students under the guidance of qualified & experienced teachers. The college offers all the basic facilities in its campus & promises to produce skillful teachers.

Eligibility and procedure for admission to Two Year D.El.Ed.Course (Regular/Face to face mode) for the session 2019-2021

  • Should be an Indian.
  • Should pass the H.S (+2) Examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Council/University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate (where aggregate is given)/aggregate of the best five (where no aggregate is mentioned). There is, however, a relaxation of 5% marks for the applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH/Ex-Serviceman category. Where there is no aggregate marks, 50% / 45% of the total of the best five scores excluding EVS (where it is not an elective subject) for eligibility will be counted.
    Note : The entry qualifications of the applicants belonging Ex-Serviceman shall be determined in terms of the memo of the School Education Department no. 598-SE(EE)/PTTI-16/17 dated 08.09.2017 read with the clarification of MHRD memo no. F.No. 1-22/2012-EE-4(P) dated 23.08.2017, if required i.e. if the applicant does not have 50%/45% marks in H.S. (+2) examination.
